FOP Auxiliary

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Auxiliary is comprised of family members of our FOP members, including spouses, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, in-laws and children over age of 18.  The Auxiliary is the only national support organization of its kind.

The Auxiliary began in 1920 when Kathryn M. Milton led an effort to establish the first FOP Ladies Auxiliary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  In 1941, Ms. Milton became the president of the first National FOP Ladies Auxiliary.  With the inclusion of men, the Auxiliary dropped, "Ladies" from its name, and has grown to over 140 subordinate Auxiliaries representing 25 states.

The Auxiliary’s moto “never let them walk alone” epitomizes their mission to enhance the FOP in its support for our members who risk their lives to serve and protect.  The Auxiliary also provides needed support to spouses and children of our members.
